This is the mailing sent out by Mr. Wells earlier today:
"hello everyone,
with the help of a friend of mine (thanks damon) we figured out how to have mp3's on my page and so i uploaded two tracks for you to preview.
1. haven't you learned a new mix of the song that was on garageband.com
2. johnny's new religion a duet with misty perholtz. this is a demo version, the final mix will not have the robot and synth voices and is a little better mix. i just thought it would be cool to hear how a song can differ with just a few changes here and there or what i like to call over production.
i hope you enjoy them, keep checking foralgernon.com in the songs section to hear more. i will have a few more up, maybe even today. let me know what you think if you want to, good or bad.
take care
jason"
The songs sound great, Wells!
Yara shot some great pictures from our show on Tuesday. Check em out!

In support of democratic House Candidate Nick Clooney and the democratic process in an election year, your very own, goofy ass, Minni-Thins are playing RadioDown this Friday with Ashley Peacock, Ryan Adcock, and Nick himself. Personel will be on hand to get you registered to vote.
You can learn all about Mr. Clooney at his website, www.clooneyforcongress.com. Check out the Press Room to read about his stances on the issues, and check out this article which compares him to the competition, republican Geoff Davis.
You can register to vote without leaving your house if you want to be lame and get made fun of. Do it here.
My mom told me that if I tell everyone George (From Dusk Till Dawn George, not Batman and Robin George) will be there, it will bring out the peeps, but I can neither confirm or deny that claim.
The street team basically works like this:
Fans of The Minni-Thins help the band by hanging and passing out flyers for our shows to their friends and coworkers. Also, members of the street team can earn a spot on the guest list for shows, by showing up with four or more of their friends.
Pretty simple stuff for you, that helps us begin and continue a grass roots following.
If you are interested in being a member of The Minni-Thins Street Team, please email minni_thins@yahoo.com with the following information:
Name
Telephone Number
Address
Preference (should we mail you flyers, or would you rather an email with an attachment)
When Moses stormed down the mountain to deliver God's law to the straying Israelites, he said, "When Dr. Jones and The Minni-Thins play together, it shall kick ass." We kept to this ancient and holy law last night and rockethed all of the patrons of the York Street Cafe. Best Tuesday night show ever! Thanks to all who came out to visit, the acoustic stylings of Dan Bayer, and, of course, our good buddies, Dr. Jones (who, by the way, rule). Special thanks to Darin, the Door Man Of York, who bought a T-Shirt AND a second copy of our EP just to have a color-your-own.
The sad news of the night was that Dr. Jones is taking a hiatus. The good news is that they are writing new songs and about to record an album. I feel it to be my duty to report it to you here as they are too cool to have a website, and I am a nerd. Great show last night, fellas, good luck with the recording! I can't wait to hear it...
Check out our new songs!!!
Let Me Be Your Liquor Man - The rock. Jeremy screams.
Sigh of Relief - The country. Check out Jeff Perholtz (of Newbee's fame) on the slide geetar.

Get your f'n fork out of my Nachos!
New gallery is here. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us on a Tuesday night. Let us know what you think of the single! We'd appreciate the feedback... And everyone tell Nate what an awesome job he did taking pictures of us... As usual the shot of the night goes to Kenny (obviously the most photogenic guy in the band).
